Transporting clones

I'm new to getting clones from someone else. What is the best way to move rooted clones? I've never moved them outside my grow area.

if they're goin into dirt, put them in beer cups with soil for the move. if they're goin into hydroton or somethin, put them in a zip lock, just keep them outta the light. if the plants are too big, just have the roots in the ziplock and the tops stickin out. then into a box for transport. maybe a tiny bit of water in the bag if its a long trip

they should come in holders if not anything that dosent absorb water or let light in i had clones in my trunk overnight

I'm hoping the guy will let me come get them. So I can put them in cups before they leave his place. I don't take much time to plant my own clones. out the cloner and into what ever there going to grow in.

what method did u go with? How many miles was the trip?

I'd be more inclined to use 3" wide PVC pipes and 3" end caps and maybe an small LED inside if light cycle is supposed to be ON.

I took solo cups and planted on the spot. Had a canvas bag with a warmer inside. only had to travle 20 min. temps where mid 30's.
