Trash Bags for Growing

Hey i cant find a place around here that sells grow bags. can i use extra large trash bags with slits cut in the sides for aeration and drainage?

E bay sell plenty of grow bags

I wouldnt reccomend that. Amazon, ebay, or craigslist my friend. DONT CUT CORNERS WITH YOUR GROW.

i used trash bags last year i just put them in the ground so that the root zone wouldnt get to warm....but yeah it worked very well i would say and i saved money by doing that

why not plant in holes?

i use weed barrier and staple it in to a sack with a house hold stapler. cheap air pot

potatoe sacks are great also

search "smart pots". they are popular, and also practical if you don't want to dig holes.

could you use a burlap bag? i get hundreds of bushels of chilies and dont like throwing the bags away
