there's first hand info and then there's second hand ......from ones who have not had to do this....
just giving what I know..not what I've heard.
Guess it all depends on what you are treating.
Stress or cancer.

I've been treating my mothers stage 4 lung and bone cancer with RSO
They gave her a few weeks 2 months ago
Her tumor has shrunk 2cms on her last scan

We also have her on a high alkaline diet... no sugars and she takes the following supplements:

Baking soda
Chaga
Apple Cider Vinegar

The doctors told us there was nothing else they could do for her so I took matters into my own hands.. Her oncologist is still adamant that cannabis provides no health benefits and the tumor shrinking has no association to the cannabis oil... (face in hands)

Prior to this I treated my grandfathers skin cancer with RSO.. it was the size of a loonie down to a dime. My family decided for him to have major surgery and radiation.. unfortunately he passed during radiation because his body couldn't take it.. I kick myself daily for not fighting harder to just use RSO to treat it.

dont kick yourself dude...no one likes being told or can you force someone to do something they dont feel right about. Its very frustrating. All you can do is inform! and hope it sinks in

and it works for Basal cell too ;)

I dont grind it( I have)..... or even bother to break it up...frozen "BONE DRY" bud into frozen IPA.
in three minutes, which is all that really needed to rid 80% of the meds... The herb being frozen has really no choice but to break up as you stir it .
I do a minute of medium speed the then two minutes on slow. All freezing temps though.
I use a drill and dry wall paddle, that's only been used to meds eh ;) not mud lol

I freeze the remains until I have enough wroth while doing a wash.
the 20 % left over of a now some what "green" medication seeing as now it has soaked in the IPA for some time.( 4 months of saving)
If you get it back in the freezer fast enough and dont let it warm up to much after washing it...
It will stay a golden color more than a green weed oil color.
It just wont be as clear or as yellow.
Amber to yellow is usually what IM after.

ok....you'll need 1lb of bud...trim and shake goes to canna-coco caps...about 4 gals of 99% iso...a gallon bucket and a 5 gal bucket...some nylon screen and some wire...a rice cooker and some coffee filters,a syphon hose....I use 1/4 ID clear hose about 4 ft long and a blender...take your bud by the handful and run thru blender on chop mode in short 2-3 second shots... breaks it down to just bigger than you'd roll with...this goes into the 4 gal bucket...once ground, toss your ISO and ground bud in the deep freeze for 48 hrs...when you are ready, pour iso into 4gal bucket so it covers the bud by an inch...keep it in the freezer...in 10 mins go out with a stainless spatula and give it a good swirl or 7...all in the freezer....go for a smoke...come back in 10 mins and give it another swirl or 7...go grab a beer...in 10 mins, go out and place the window screen over 4 gal bucket...secure with wire...then drain the 4 gal bucket into the 5 gal bucket...then 4 gal bucket into freezer...repeat for 2nd wash...if you still have a good golden syrup after 2nd run...run it again...once you are done with the ISO wash, the 5 gal bucket no longer needs to stay cold...set the 5 gal bucket on top of deep freeze...this is done in my front porch that has a ft of screen open to fresh air...don't want muttly/clumsy friends knockin' this over....leave it to settle for a day or 2...now get your coffee filters and using the hose start to syphon the mix...it will filter pretty fast for the first 2/3s of the mix...you will start to see the dirt/dust etc on the bottom of the bucket...be careful to not take too much of this debris to your filters...way slows thing down...once you have the filtered product you'll need to transfer it to your ricecooker...I use 200 gram plastic tobacco buckets to do this...set up cooker OUTSIDE...I set up on an old kitchen table on the back porch...fill cooker turn it onto cook then go inside and warm up...I don't do runs in summer..I have a yard to keep up with...keep an eye on shit...add/topup cooker as it evaporates off...when all of your filtered product is gone you really gotta put down the doobs and beer...at about 3/4 - an inch add a tablespoon of water to the cooker....swirl the cooker to ensure you don't burn shit...when it looks thick, place in an appropriate sized glass container...get you wife's big pot...use mason jar lids or a towel on the bottom....put in water and put on stove...turn on hood fan and slowly heat water to just barely a boil...basically a double boiler...set your jar of product adrift in the hot water so its floating in the water...let it simmer and check the vapors for that ISO smell every 15 mins or so...it will be gone eventually....don't rush, you are almost at the finish line...once the oil doesn't smell of ISO, put the lid on it and set aside for when your current stash runs out...should yield 2.5-3 oz of gold....this will last me most of the year, as I have been eating it for 3+yrs...about 1/4 gram when the canna-caps don't keep up with your pain...just finished a run yesterday...hope this is clear enough...ask if you don't follow my rambling....;))


mojo have 6 z-strain syringes comin...gonna be a busy winter

nice idea on the nylon screen! i'm using coffee filters and it takes a fairly long time to strain. this would be a lot faster
