So these will definitely swell more before harvest time? Any ideas on how much more.. 25%..50%? I seen some great CFL grows mine doesnt compare, unless they lied and finished under HPs lol. Also I'm not sure when to count flowering?? I thought 8 weeks from pistils showing, but some count from 12/12 switch (I was thinking the period between switch and pistils showing as preflowering stage) I also see grows going 10 weeks (I'm thinking the two weeks extra is due to them counting from 12/12 switch)

You're using junk ass CFL lighting and you wonder why you don't have big buds?? Guess what they won't get that nice buddy CFL suck for vegging and you're using them for flower.....

Actually like I said, I've seen some fantastic results with just CFLs. Also I've seen some really sorry ass looking HPs and MH grows. Environment, pH of water nutes, what training and proximity of lights all play a huge role as well.

I've seen alright grows with CFL's I wouldn't say fantastic. And sure some people just can't grow even with a good light but you get what you put in and CFL's are not putting much in.

I have about 24 tops on the 1 plant and about 16 tops on the other fairly flat canopy across both plants, I just want each top to way a gram. Is this achievable do you think??

Your friend with the 600w hps should get an air cooled hood, like a cool tube. Does wonders for my 400w hps tent.
Another factor that could have contributed to your clones wilting in there could be acclimatization - too sudden a jump to strong light.
I veg under CFLs then when moving to the hps tent I either put them in the shade of another plant then gradually peek them more and more out into direct light, day by day, or
I put them in the hps tent for ten minutes the first day, then back into cfl. Then half an hour the second day, then back into cfl. Then an hour or two the next day, then finally permanently.

Thanks man but they are really tiny, barely as thick as my finger. I've seen some amazing CFL grows on YouTube and I just can't see my plants adding on all that mass within 4 weeks.

Thats when they put on all the weight...thebladt 4 or 5 weeks they should double in size probably...or more... with hps that is ...i dunno for cfls...
Add some more cfl light...or add some t5...

I hope they do. I'm gna finish them under what I got and try get a HPs for my next grow I think. Unless these magically pack on loads of weight and I'll stick with what I got lol
