I thought I waited til 70% of the white hairs go brown but now I'm hearing about these trichome thingys - what are they?? And can I sample my plant before it's ready?

yeah, you can sample it if you want, but it's always better to be patient and wait.

trichomes are what actually get you high thise are what you want to turn about 70% amber and 30% cloudy for a good high. hash is just a bunch of trichomes compacted together which is why hash is so popular. you can sample wouldnt recomend it but just take of a small amount and do a quick dry and test it shouldnt harm your plant if you only take a litlle bit . hope this helped

well nah not really, thats just your opinion there is different types of highs, depends on when you harvest, CHeck this out..

good point 70/30 is more of a personal opinion than it is standard on when to harvest so do what evr high suits you best macroft1
