trimming leaves, etc..

first time grower here. i have one plant. indica. it was a bag seed. she, well i hope it's a girl, is looking happy and healthy at 5 weeks old. just shy of two feet tall now. i just put her on a 12/12 schedule a week ago. was wondering if i should trim the bottom leaves. the little guys not really gettin any light. figure it would be a little less for her to worry about while she tries to bud. and hey any other advice for a newbie would be Highly (yes pun intended) apreciated.

most ppl take the bottom 1/3 off within the first 2 weeks of flower. it does not recieve much light and you dont want to spend days trimming popcorn when its been shown that similar cuttings grown pruned produce relatively equal bud weight to unpruned plants, but mostly along main cola's instead of popcorn.
