Of course you can. I'd recommend sharpening them first.... nothing worse then trying to trim with a dull blade. I'd also clean them with alcohol first.... not for any other purpose then having things nice and clean. The thought of a dirty blade just grosses me out.

You may also want to have a clean razor blade handy to scrape the resin off of the scissor blades.... it builds up pretty fast. Save that resin...you can smoke it!!!

I'ld say if you only have one plant, why not. But if you have a lot of work ahead of you you should go out and get pruning sheers. They are sharper and smaller; built for the job. Kitchen scissors are typically bulky and would be trouble trying to trim the smaller leaves off of your bud, also all of the extra handling that would be needed isn't really a plus for the buds either. I'ld say in general it wouldn't hurt to go spend $7 on a pair of proper sheers, you've already put in so much money and time why decide to be less than perfect now that they are finally ready.

if you take some 220 sandpaper and fold a small piece in half so the grain is on the outside then cut it with your scissors it will sharpen them. :)

i'd give it a full dose of bloom and a half dose of veg. but that's just me.:blsmoke:
let it dry out until it shows wilting then flood it with this mix until the soil is soaked. then go back to flushing once the soil dries again.
