Trimming

So this is my first hydroponics grow and also with a better light and these plants have so many branches and leaves but there’s also a lot under the big fan leaves so was looking to see what people with more experience recommended and also I had a cal mag deficiency at first and caused the lower fan leaves to get damaged and there also basically covered by the other leaves now so is it ok to remove them i don’t want to cause more problems than good but also think it might help so thanks in advance as always I appreciate all comments no matter what your opinion is

So just 45 degree cut there big ass leaves so the stem is also huge not what I’m used to at all lol hydro is a different worl

I just clip them or pluck them. Probably cleanest to use a razor or trimming scissors.

To be honest I have left the leaf stem and just cut the leaf off without any issues as well.
