I get this when I hit your posted link.
Reported Attack Site!
This web site at 79.143.178.20 has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.
Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are . . .

This would be the very first time I've encountered this, ever?

shut up with all that fooolish all i care iss about fucking up my outdoor by cuttig to mnay fan leaves dumb S h1t but dont help i dont care someone will
Short answer to this question is this: do not cut fans off that are high up on the plant. They receive the light and convert soil nutreints into smoking bud. In other words, the top 1/3 of the plant does 90 percent of the work.

Bottom 1/3 of the plant may be working as well if there is good reflective light. But personally, I would not cut any healthy leaf unless there was a good reason to do so. And by the way, the very first leaves to consider hacking are the ones that grow from stems pointed inward. Those may actually consume more energy than they produce.

It is really a lot like taking care of an apple tree, with regard to pruning.

Ya, sit back and watch it heal/grow.

IT will be fine, as a lot of people swear by pruning.

You'll be ok just have patience. Its a plant, let it do its thing.

Pruning is fine, if you know what you are doing. It is stupid if you do not understand how to prune. If you want to learn about pruning pick up a gardening book or two and look at the illustrations.

The key thing to remember is that branches that grow back toward the middle of the plant are useless and consume energy. Top branches make most of the energy. The energy converts to bud production. Always prune away dead leaves or any leaves that are 50% brown, because they consume more than they produce.
