Sup guys, so where I live will be under tropical storm conditions in the next couple days.. Winds of 40-45 and 4 or 5 inches rain possible. so my question, I have one lady bout 6ft tall and hedlthy in a 12gal pot I believe elevated off ground with a concrete block.. Bring her under shelter or she should be fine?

Kinda seems like a silly question, if I could shelter her why wouldn't I.. But lots of people grow outside and can't move them so..

Is it caged at all? If not, just taking it off the blocks will help. You could lay it down when the winds get bad. Or you could bring it under shelter.

I'm just to the northwest of the Cone of Possibility. I expect rain mostly. With 45 odd plants in the bush, I hope we don't have too much wind. But then my plants are just starting to flower, so not much weight yet.

But it looks like we are going to have an active late summer and fall this year.

Almost neighbors, I'm in NE Florida right on the coast..
Yeah they saying Thursday evening and overnight for us
Hey Jerry. Hope this storm leaves your plant alone.

Some of my wife's kin from your neck of the woods has picked this weekend to come visit us. They would see storming in either place. I hate being cooped up in the house with a bunch of females.

Since you can move it, do so or be sorry. There's zero doubt the storm will fuck up your plant if you leave it outside.

Good luck, get some alcohol, and enjoy the storm!

Did everyone come through the storm alright? I had a few tree limbs down, but nothing else. I haven't been to all my patches, so I don't know if any of them got damage, but I'm guessing not.

Storm damage update. The BST1 in GN patch broke in half, at the spot I topped. Half hanging in the closet, half still going, about week 3-4. A young 88 male also split down the middle. So half the pollen from him. And a spot of PM on the BST1 in the FP patch. Cut it out and sprayed with lemon juice/water. Some patches I haven't been to yet, so may be more damage.
