some honest and hard won truths there Bob. Even i have been doing some coco. the shit really does rock.2.5-3/1k not a problem. but i have to say ive had enough of the stuff and am going to switch back to HP. i just cant stand the disposal aspect and hauling of the stuff anymore.

You're born to do HP anyway :D ... Ever try grinding it up and mulching it around the yard? Hell, I'd dry it out, mix it with some wax and make my own duraflame logs- or easier yet just dry it out and burn it in a big pile if burning is allowed and normal and wouldn't attract attention in your area...

i had a chamber almost this exact size(you can see it in one of my albums) and i had 8 selonoids with 12 nozzles and i feel it wasnt nearly enough nozzles to cover the space sufficiently. that is a huge space to fill with hydraulic nozzles and i never did add more nozzles to see if it would have performed better. it grew some very nice plants which yielded one of my best yields from a HP setup but the roots were less than stellar because the coverage wasnt good enough. i could fill the space but the pulses had to be longer than what was optimal. you really need AA for spaces that large unless you have your nozzles and coverage very well matched. you can grow some nice plants because of all the room but the roots just wont be as nice as they

Im glad you had succes with size! After doing 1 run and reading your thread ik these girls would need some room and thought of this design it's as big of a chamber u can fit in half of my 4x8 tent.
I did decide to go AA I'm going to be using the same nozzles as tb now I just need to buy or build an oil- less compressor anyone with links I'd appreciate it! where would you guys put the AA NOZZLES I'm thinking centered up and down 1 on the left side panel 3/4 towards the back and the other one on the right side panel 1/4 of the way in from the front so they would be diagonal across from one another?... Any thoughts? And should I incorporate a silk screen and some kinda fine bird netting for a root scrog?

And you have the right idea tb about spreading the shit in the yard. I've had it with hauling the promix to the dump as well.

Thanks for that! How lo would u go on your offer?
$400 could be a bargain if you could get him down that low. A brand new bambi 75/250 costs $1,466 (item number: 180860238411)
Maybe send him a message asking what he`s prepared to accept as a bare minimum? shipping costs may be quite steep.. its not exactly lightweight at 35kg ;)

I also was gonna say try to start at $400, shipping is gonna be a killer so you might really consider making one from a refrigerator compressor. I need to do the same, so perhaps we can both make ours together at the same time.

You gotta get you an outdoor veggie garden, friend :)

Fuck, you might've just talked/goaded me into it.............was planning on shutting down (my big rig) for the summer anyways, so I'm thinking I might retrofit my EZ 120 with some misters and see what I can do under this new 650W T5 I gots............

Goddammit...........I guess it's really just drilling a couple of holes in my EZ Clone (which I had thought about turning into an HP cloning rig anyways).............

So hard to get coverage in there, though................question for everybody - what size container(s) would work best for a 2x4 tent? Maybe four plants in 32 gallon Roughnecks?

Fuck I hate you guys.........

i was gna offer 400 as well but your right shipping will prob be over 100 alone!

my only concern with that is the oil left over from the refridgerent, all though the diy on you tube do make it appealing! im thinking of going to HD and buying a 5-10 gallon compressor and retro fitting a fridge motor to it that way I have all the gauges and pressure regulator in place already and only need to convert it. i also might just buy a belt driven model and hook it to a large tank in my garage then run air lines to my room from it? but yea Im down to construct this together if I dont find a diff route

Ik this is directed towards tb and Ive only done 1 round with hp aero myself I think its best to do 1 strain at a time or do a few that can handle nutes on the same scale. for instance I wouldnt put cheese and sour diesel in the same rig cause the cheese is a heavy feeder and SD is a light feeder so one will suffer in the end results. I had pinapple express, ice, and heavy duty fruity in my chambers and PE def cam out the best so Ill prob do that exclusively on my next run!

do you still think its worth it?
Check Craigslist for deals - there's always dentist offices going out of business.

You can get compressors like these (Atomizer, please chime in for why these would or wouldn't work, although it's 30dB vs the Bambi's 40) for cheap.

BTW, if anyone see this and thinks I'm in LA, trust me..........I'm not. Far, far, far away from there..........

Aero should do great with any plant if dialed in correctly, unlike some other forms of hydro. But we're talking high pressure aero, not the low pressure kind which does have issues with ceretain plants just like hydro. In the end however, any cannabis plant should do fine in any of the methods. Might be some other variable that is your issue. Good luck Thump...

well I offered the guy 450 at lunch and he bit but the shipping is freakin 350!:???:
ouch, it might be worth getting a few quotes of your own as it sounds like he`s planning to send it in a chauffeur driven stretched limo ;)
All fridge compressors need oil in them or they`ll seize up, mine takes 550ml.
I`d go for an oil lubricated compressor, they run cooler, quieter and last longer than oil-less, adding a little oil once every few months is no great hardship :)
