Ya I'm not bashing the method. But I'm not about sending cash to a stranger no,matter what the reason lol. If they dont take my bank card ill just stick with bag seeds lol
Lol, there was no other option than sending cash 10yrs ago.

Its all part of the game, no risk no reward. You can find seed sellers who take credit cards but youre limiting yourself based on unjustified fear. Im guessing youre a fellow US of A citizen because they got you full of paranoia. Lol

Not so much parinoia as I work for my money and sending cash is unprofessional. I understand but I am not buying seeds 10 years ago . every bank has such bad reviews I might just not buy any at all.

Sent cash for these beans and a whole lot moreView attachment 4386526 View attachment 4386527

No risk, no reward. Both these strains cost about $120 all together, that's like 6 hours of work. Ill risk that anyday.

Hope your first purchase goes good either way.
I'm not bashing the method. I'm just not doing that. I like receipts . instant charging not sensing and, hoping for the best. Glad it woroed for y'all but ill just stick to bag seeds.

Geez I think I have only been able to use a cc once over the last 10 years. Cash is no big deal. Never been screwed over. Stick to a big vendors and use tracking...if they screwed people over they would be out of business quick through word of mouth. If your that worried make a small order...if you can’t risk 150$ or so you have bigger problems.

I have been ordering beans for 20 years and have always gotten my beans. Never had a problem and 90% of the time paid cash. You read about horror stories about people being ripped off. But most of those are banks I have never heard of. USA banks I have used and never had a problem 1) OES, 2) Great Lakes Genetics , 3) Greenpoint 4) Firestax USA. Like you said, if they were ripping people off, they would not be in business long. I would have no problem sending any of the above banks cash. Hell, I used to buy from overseas banks. Ie Firestax, Attitude, and always got my orders. So much easier to get seeds these days than back in the early 1990's when I first started growing indoors. Back then I sent $100 cash to Marc Emery in Canada to get my seeds. So long ago.

I remember sending cash to Herbie's. Now us banks. Never lost a bean or a buck. But it happens. I have bought some suspect beans. I usually don't name breeders. But a few beans I've bought were hermie prone. But at the quality and price point, no big deal.

I'm new to seed banks so I haven't heard of any until the other week. Just where I come from you hear sens cash you think of getting ripped off. Moneys not an issue.. But screw me out of a dollar or 1000 dollars.. Ill be equally as mad. Money is money . I don't gamble. I like a sure thing. Nothing to do with being poor. But like I said I'm tired of bag seeds and the game of wait and see. I am doing Oregon elite seeds. Talked to the guy on the phone seemed pretty genuine

Oregon is legit. I am gonna mail some money to True North because they have some seeds I can not get elsewhere. Have never lost money in the mail. Put several layers of paper on each side of the cash. I check with a flashlight pressed up to the envelope in the dark to see if I can see thru the paper and see the cash.

I know! I wanted to stay away from regular seeds. The ones I wanted were out,of stock but I seen the magnum and went for it. Was so easy. Place the order and call with card. Was done in mins

Point taken my brother, but your closing point, I would say and I'm sure I speak for the silent majority, is a bit impassive. Some don't have that type of disposable cream. Feel me. Just my opinion.

I'm minutes from pulling the trigger on either the alien tech (prism seedbank) or some Dutch strains ie barneys shiskaberry? nirvana co.? I got beans back fro true north twice now. They came really quick. Side note I'm 0/3 on popping those Canuk freebies keep in mind I might suck a germinating

I've popped at least 30 Canuk seeds all grew into healthy plants, highly recommend their Northern Lights and their White Rhino is decent too.

True north is terrible in my experience. 2 orders both times snatched at Chicago customs. And they don’t resend I asked. So had to open up dispute with card to get money back. I actually still received the envelopes 3 months later or around there, horrible stealth. I don’t want to put them out there but what they said on the outside of the package was a dead giveaway. I just go directly through breeders now, less hassle, plus fresh seeds.
