The problem with the case is when the defense trys to show Trump did not try to harm or get financial gain over the docs. Sure he obstructed justice but has he actually tried to harm the US? Not like he posted the stuff online, sold them to the Saudi's (maybe he should have to cough up the missing doc before coming to the conclusion first). They are going to play it as "Sure he made some mistakes but he never meant to harm anyone.)
