Not even close. They aren't lying every time someone talks on there like Faux News does. They're winning awards for their journalism while Faux is getting sued for their BS.

I rarely watch them tho as I'm not into seeing the same thing over and over again from talking heads. I'll flip to them or CNN while I'm waiting for another show to start but don't hang out much. I prefer PBS Newshour or BBC World News America for good old reporting without all the speculation and talking heads going on and on.

I get a couple of Fox channels but happily don't get Faux News itself on my satellite service.

It's another non news channel with political hacks that are 100% biased. I've seen Lawrence spewing hate the same way they do on FOX. That morning show they have with Joe Scarborough is pretty pathetic as well. People say that FOX is the mouthpiece for the GOP and they're correct. MSNBC is the mouthpiece for the Democratic party. They only talk about things that are favorable and rarely comment on anything that puts Democrats in a bad light. So yeah. No real difference except one is right and one is left.

If you enjoy the show then by all means continue watching it. I choose not to play follow the leader like so many do just because someone says what you want to hear.

I don’t watch either, other than clips I see in here. For sure MSNBC has a bias but they are not the same as Fox. We now know for certain that Fox News was intentionally spreading lies to help trump. We also know that Fox was working hand in hand with the trump campaign.

MSNBC has a left leaning bias but Fox is the propaganda arm of the GOP. To say they are the same is ridiculous.

You forgot one difference. On Fox they make shit up and pass it off as news. MSNBC uses the news to push an agenda, no problem there as long as they do not tell Fox styled falsehoods.

LOL, according to Ad Fontes Media, MSNBC is actually less reliable and more biased than FOX. I don't watch either one myself, because they are both garbage.

I tend to think all the 24hr news is trash...but absolutely not the same. The need to fill the air time just leads to a decay in reporting/journalism. It's a flaw in the design. Reporting should be succinct, 24hr news is not that by design.

That is kind of where my both sides-er-ism ends. Conservative media just isn't factually correct, goes beyond spinning to nonsense. We see it here, their viewers trot out tabloids as evidence. Does the web format give it more credibility? The "Elvis lives" stories used to be enough that nobody had the expectation that it was real...yet here we are with 25% of us just being morons. Muh gawd Jim Bob, how many of those people think wrasslin is real.

Though I do often find the cnn/msnbc POV very annoying. Their coverage is what I watch/see so that's most of my exposure with the format.
