Trusted Seed Banks??

a guy in that post made a excellent comment- Well if you got almost an extra ounce more per plant and it took 1/3 less smoke for the desired effect and it lasted more than twice as long and the taste was better and the bud density was better and it was harvested 2 weeks earlier it sure makes the Dr. Greenthumb plants look like a bargain to me at $75 more. That extra 22+ grams per plant alone pays for the whole thing and when you multiply that by 10 plants...

This more or less reflects my experince with greenthumb. I have gotten more keepers from them than any other bank. The guy knows his stuff.
when you look at it like this??????????????ahhhhhhhhhhhh so many choices.....lol seriously this is tough to made a decision
but defiantly EXPENSIVE!!

Should you just like use a check card from your bank and order them to your house? What's the risk of that in the us? I've been too scared to do it. Just been rockin bagseeds
There are probably tens of thousands of people ordering seeds to their homes. Think of all the states where MMJ is legal. Sure if you get really unlucky things can go bad but you could slip in the shower and break your neck too. I've only found one instance of a bust that was attributed to a seed order. I've always used a regular credit card.

If you order soon, you will hit the xmas season when the postal services are totally swamped. You could probably write 'Cannabis Seeds' in big red letters on the package and still have no problem. But it will be slow. A typica 2 week delivery time can become two months.

Well said zvuv, chances of getting busted from ordering seeds is about the same as winning the California lotto

Rage is one of my favorite groups I've seen them live 3 times, I been bumping them since 1991, you would probably like the Hip Hop I listen to. No rapping about money, hoes, shooting people, gangbanging, or any of that bullshit, just real shit I can relate to.

tell me what you think of that??
Most of the music I listen to involves shooting people. Of course, it is IRA music about fighting the English.

That is definitely an exaggeration. Even crappy mexican bag seed will be kick ass if grown correctly. People who are better at growing tend to go for crazy strains from big name breeders. Most people who are capable of setting up an entire indoor grow with CO2, air conditioning, and air cooled 1000w HPS running are the sort of people who enjoy growing odd and specialty things. I would suggest that is the biggest reason why you find things from SubCool and others being better than some other places much more so than the seeds being magical or something.

That being said the federal government could consider shipping seeds from out of the country an international conspiracy and deliver them to you and use the fact that you accepted them as proof you are growing and then bust you for federal crimes. I'd still send them somewhere your grow isn't.

For stealth go with Herbies, for variety go with herbies picknmix, for quality go with Sensi or Serious seeds...just make sure that your germination success rate is 90%

I'm growing some of Dr GT's gear right now. C99 & Big Laughing. Since I only grow 5 or six plants at a time, $10-$20 for a seed is not a big deal if I get quality for it. By the time the plant is finished she will be worth about 100x that. But I don't like having to drop $150 for 10 pack when I am only going to grow 2 or 3.

When you buy just a couple, have you ever had any duds or bad seeds cause it sounds like we have similar growing conditions and needs? I want to buys seeds, my aero systems holds six plants max, but I only want to do two or 4, is it worth buying separate?

The better the breeder, the better the germination rate you should get. It depends some on the seedbank too since they may send old stock or poorly stored seeds. Often if there is a germination problem, the seedbank or breeder will send you replacements. Out of about 10 Dr GT seeds in several strains, I have had only one seed fail. It germinated but it's cotyledons were misformed and it didn't make it. Another seed produced twins, which is cute but not desireable. That one is doing fine.

But the bottom line is, the smaller the number of seeds you plant, the more vulnerable you are to such contingencies. I start two or three seeds of a strain and then depending on what I get, I start fewer or more seeds of the next strain a week or so later. I run a staggered grow so I always have plants in my veg cab ready to go into the flower closet.

In general, for a fem seed from a top notch breeder, it is worth planting just one or two, but every now and then you get unlucky.

I highly recommend a seperate veg cab. It makes your setup much more efficient and flexible. With a staggered grow you can be harvesting a couple of plants every three weeks.

Herbies pick and mix. Takes about a week and ships worldwide. Every order is discrete packaged. 7 for 7 on germ. Creative packing imo
:hump:Can someone recommend a place for me to purchase good seeds. There are so many out there I could use a good recommendation!!

Herbies is great to deal with and unlike the Ministries of Cannabis the seeds actually arrive. That's the good news. Stay clear of the Ministries and all will be well.
