LEDs are pretty awesome. I'll say that. As far as what to choose, that I cant. I dont believe a lot of the specs listed with leds. My kingsled 1000w is supposed to replace a 400-600w HID bulb. 510umol on a 600w hps. 733umol on the kings at 18". Now with that being said the 600whps is waaay brighter and is flowering the fk outa my bush. the led let me down big with low yield and airy buds. That's just an example. I'm sure there are excellent leds that'll flower great but be sure to do your research and be careful of what you get. HIDs have been used for decades and produce excellent results. There are others that use leds and could say more on the topic at hand. Be sure to remember, too much light is as bad ( if not worse) as not enough. Light burn is a real thing. Then there is the question of durability and longevity. How long will the leds actually last before failing, 1 grow cycle? 5 grow cycles? I've read about leds actually catching fire. For me I feel more comfortable with the tried and true hps/mh HID setups. Yea you'll get heat, but the heat can be managed. The entire kit I bought was less than $200.

Don't know how big your garden is but for my small closet LEDs work. Been running with California Light works lately. The Solar Extreme 500 is a fair price and simple to use. It does put out some heat. Plus it ships from and is made in USA.

I'd spend $25 more and get the HLG Rspec, or a Timber along with many others, before I bought either of those lights. What size space are you trying to cover also?

How have you grow with it, how many times did you get a successful yield?

Don't get but two or three fems in my small closet. Did have six in there last time and got three fems. This is second run got two special tall fems about 10 plus da on flower. Did much better than the old one which was a different brand. Try shopping on the Web site and view the YT. :bigjoint:

I'd spend half as much and buy the Chinese knock-off version.
Although shipping is a bit expensive for you, still $160 inc delivery for me.
