I have a 116 in x 135 in x 86 in grow space, like 108 sq feet, will 3 1000w's be good?

Also, does anyone know where to buy a, i guess its called "Drip irrigation" watering system, the ones where its hung up and sprays a mist or stream downwards?

Lighting really depends on how you're planning to grow them out, as well as how many you plan on having.
It's also relevant to consider if you'll be able to keep the room temperatures under control, as well as have enough
available power for all your devices without pushing the circuits too hard.

As far as the system you're mentioning, do you mean something like this?

Those won't quite do it. You should get at least one more, at least. You should be shooting for at least 50 watts/sq. foot, with HPS. Ideally, you should have 9 of em, spaced at 3' intervals. THAT, would kick some ass.

3 of them, are good for a little over half that space. Add a light mover, and add another 20% or so.

Well I'm sure it's relative to the style of grow he's doing, as well as how the plants are grown.
That's all probably based on how much he's looking to yield. With 3kw of lights and the right
conditions you can get easily .5g/watt which would be over 3lbs which could be enough. With
some fine tuning and dialing in he could reach higher numbers.

I'm pretty sure stinkbud was using 2x1kw lights and was producing what, a pound every three
weeks from his perpetual cycle?

If you're planning on setting up a whole room with trees in some kind of under current system,
then 3 might be a little shy of what you'd need as far as light goes. If you're looking to just make
a couple of lbs per cycle then you should be more than fine.

no that's not it, it hangs from the ceiling. but that might be just as good! i didnt think about power, 4 1000Ws and 1 600W wont blow my system i dont think...

Four 1000's will work great. They're good for about 5' x 5', so the math works out almost perfect, as far as minimums go. Sweet, should be a really nice setup.

get some big 4' parabolic reflectors and you could manage with 3. you could use a 1000w in a 6x6 space and still do well. your reflected light would play a large role if you rely on 3 though.
