Trying to find out what my strain is

Is it possible to pinpoint a strain from a picture? I was given clones of some really good stuff, but the guy who gave them to me didnt know or care what the strain was, he just knew it was good. Its been driving me nuts not knowing what im working with.

Yes and No.

If you gave me a white widow and a big bud in the same room, I could definately tell. It's like telling the difference between a boy and a girl...very obvious.

However, by looking at a plant all by itself and saying "Hmmm....I think this is X" is only guesswork.

Make up a name for it and there you go.

(If anyone else tells you different then it's a falsehood. There is no statistical evidence to prove either way....kind of like the bible....)

Ok,
15 plants(legal state med limit in Wa.)
room size is 8'X12'X9'
3-1000w HPS
2 12"X5" intake vents(no exhaust fans)
1 ceiling exhaust fan, vents outside
5 gallon pots

from the pot they grow to a max height of around 3.5' to 4' and pretty bushy

I attached pics, the veg photo is from my current batch, the week 6 flower is actually from my first batch, I only fed straight water from start to finish. pretty sad but, crawl first. second batch just used all purpose miricle grow, actually a bit better. This batch I used Foxfarm grow big for veg. Cut back the lights on sat. and tomorrow give their first shot of AN iguana juice organic bloom, which will be paired with AN Big Bud in week 2. Already this batch is a shit ton better than grow 1 and 2. The harvest pic is from grow 2.

Def. Indica but could be anything. Looks great tho. Good job!!

I agree. Those look great!

You really think Indica? All my Indica have fatter leaves, where they almost overlap each other, like my GPD. I figured Sativa. But most of my experience is GDP. So I my opinion may be skewed.

Anyone else have an idea?

is there a kinda standard flower time for indica's, I figured it to be indica, or primarily indica. I have done 2 harvests at around 7 or 8 weeks. first yeilded 2 lbs and second was 2.5 lbs. but Im not 100% sure if im totally ripe.

Ahhh...the infamous "When are my plants going to be done". All strains are different and it's impossible to say when an unknown plant will be ready for harvest. Of course, there are signs when a plant is ready but there is nothing to say with any degree of statistical accuracy that plantX will be ready on day Y.
