so.. since i am a cheap ass.. i have on cfl.. for one plant in my closet.. i do have some mylar up on the walls of my box.. but if i rotate my plant at 9 hours *half of the 18 on shift* will that help?

you should have enough lights to cover the plant or there is no point in growing, you could have a potential few Oz and you'll end up getting less than 1/2oz, the winter sun would do better than 1 cfl.

you dont say? Im going away for a bit and idk what im gonna do with my plant, i was thinking about putting it outside but idk if the cold will kill it.

where are you located? how cold does it get/ anything under 60 will stress them. possibly going 'balls up' (males) or hermies, any lower they may die. if you want, I'll care for them for you, send them all to me

I live in Cali. I think I might put it in the back yard and let the rain water it while im away. WIll the winter sun make it flower though? becuz Id like to control the budding if i can.

i haven't had any problems so far with the plant.. i did add another light to it and i do have the mylar up.. this baby hasnt given me anyproblems yet so maybe *it* is just a hearty strain?

you cheap bastard. I went to walgreens the other day and they are selling 4 23 watt daylight cfls for 7.99... You can't get $20 bucks together.

I moved a plant outside and then back in. I ended up with critters galore (spider mites). I'd strongly recommend against moving it out and then back in.

The problem with having small CFL grows is as the plant gets bigger it needs more light so you have to keep adding more bulbs, unless you buy real 100w+ cfls.

Thats why I invested in a HPS, got it for $60 off ebay 400w with a MH growlush retrofit unused and a HPS globe which I replaced (use the oldie as a spare).

I know you are on a budget but just check for those bargains, if you make enough weed you can sell a little to cover your costs.
