turns out he didn't build that

Well it worked, he is all better now, no need for further help on your part, right?

depends if he keeps following me around like a lost puppy telling the same two or three lies for thousands of posts. ya know, because he soooooo doesn't give a fuck.

Me likes....... me so envious right now

i'm not too proud to admit that i had the help of the government in many ways to build that.

i had awesome teachers that taught me the math i needed to draw out a blue print.

i drove the lumber home on roads the government built.

the lumber was available to me because of government's mission to replant the forests that burned down around here some decades ago. the government's strict replanting laws make sure there is lumber to harvest and mill for generations to come.

the main thrust of the build was paid for by my tax return, which was supplemented by the earned income tax credit.

warlords did not come and take my lumber because the government has a police force which maintains decent civility and prevents over the top lawlessness.

my father taught me how to build such a structure with knowledge he gained as a union carpenter doing government contracted jobs of constructing hospitals, bridges, and the like.

my father was only alive to teach me such things thanks to government assistance to pay for his open heart surgery when he was four years old.

it's likely that the government has assisted the companies i bought the materials from as we saw in the OP.

the materials i purchased traveled over highways and bridges built by the government.

i water the plants with water that has been treated by the government, and runs through lines constructed by the government.

the electricity that powers my fans travels through a grid set up by the government.

it's truly a collaborative effort in more ways than i can even think to mention.

sure, i built that. but everything else i just mentioned that made it possible? i didn't build that.

Haha!

Too bad there's no button for that.

you're parroting out of context remarks and strawmen, i figured you could tell me if you had anything better.
... but I'm not on the right... could you be more specific? point out the parrots or turtles or whatever animal fetish you are entertaining, now?

You left out that the government built the universe. Epic fail.

or you could tell me what i am wrong about rather than throwing out yet MORE strawmen.

i do take full credit for defending it. i sleep out there every night because the cops are useless if they bring me back an uprooted 7 foot plant.

but i doubt the neighborhood kids who jacked me a couple months ago could uproot these fuckers, i can't even fit my hand around the main stem anymore. fuckers are massive.

enjoy your mexican schwag, BTW. LOL!

is that how all that happened

is that how all that happened

i didn't mill the lumber myself, but i bet whoever did got some government loans along the way. ditto whoever made the sheets of plastic, or water resistant duct tape, or screws, or hinges.

plenty of government patents among my building materials to make sure that an overly free market does not punish the true innovators by stealing their inventions.

i bet some of the technology in my greenhouse, like motion sensor alarms, was developed via a government grant to do something entirely different. i mean, most of what you see in the hospital was brought to you courtesy of the space program. they didn't set out to build medical technology, but what they did build had applications in medical technology and was used thusly.

a lot of my blood and sweat has gone into that greenhouse, but i owe a lot to those that came before me, too.

anyone who wants to claim that "they did build that" had better abscond to the wilderness and start a machining company all by themselves, no help whatsoever from anyone else.

Again, I wish I had that button.
