Turtle's 2000W HPS 4 Strain Capp Ebb and Grow Journal

This will be my first documented grow on RIU.

For my grow room I built a wall cutting off an area of 8ft long x 4ft wide x 7ft tall. I used wood paneling similar to that of the room to make the grow space more conspicuous.

I will be using a 15 plant capp ebb and grow system. The reservoir is a 55gal garbage can that is placed outside of the grow space and attached via 3/4 inch tubing to the inside of the space. Inside the res is a submersible pump, a water heater, and a continuous 6part monitoring system.

Inside the grow room is a controller bucket that is attached to the main reservoir and then also to 15 2gal grow buckets. I'm using smart pots inside the 2 gal buckets because I think that this should probably reduce any root rot. I built the ebb and grow system using stuff I found at Lowe's for under 300 bucks.

I am using 2 1000w HPS lights with a fan ducted that goes to a carbon filter and exhaust fan that blows into my attic. I also have 1 co2 tank that flows on a set schedule throughout the day. There is also an ac unit attached to the wall. The walls were covered with mylar.

The strains I am growing are:
5 snow white
3 white rhino
3 papaya
4 raspberry cough
All strains are from nirvana and feminized.

Using the full GH nutrient line.

That is all I can think of right now. Sorry about the pictures, my camera is messed up and all I had to use was my webcam.

Any thoughts and or help would be appreciated!

I plan to veg until about half of the floor space is covered, if that makes an sense. It's hard to see the ebb and flow system but I have it spaced out pretty evenly and there should be adequate space for growth. Not sure how long it will take since this is my first time using co2 and am unsure of what kind of growth rates I'm going to get.

I am not using a controller with the co2. I calculated the flow rates and if my math is correct then I should be able to reach levels close to 1500ppm. The timer comes on for 2.5 hours when the light first comes on and then goes off for 15min then back on for 15 and so and so. The temps are usually between 70-80 degrees F even with both lights on. Right now I am just using one of the lights for the seedlings with the ac on low and the temp is 72.

Anybody have a good recommendation as far as a foliar spray? I was thinking liquid light with the penetrator but I wasn't completely sold on it.

Alright, so. Most of the seedlings now have about 4 sets of adult leaves, so I plan on beginning nutrient feeding soon. Right now I am putting them in the water reservoir for about 10 minutes, once per day. Once I can see roots poking through the bottoms I will put them in the smart pots in the ebb and grow system. I am using GH's subculture M right now in the res, which is why it looks nasty. It's a fungus and it definitely smells like fungus. Anyway, I had to put some airstones for aeration and a water heater.

I'm also getting some yellowing on some of the leaves, which is probably because I need to start feeding nutrients soon. I also included the nutrients I plan on using for veg. Haven't gotten the nutes for flowering yet.
