twice now intercepted

This is now twice in succession seeds intercepted at customs in L.A by Herbies. I ordered first and that order got intercepted and used standard stealth. I got a refund and we did a new order through Herbies with super stealth this time. Again got intercepted. This time they left me a gift in the letter as if to say ha ha.

WTF?

I think customs is on to the seedbanks shipping to the United States.

I am bout to give up on this overseas. This seems to be a problem everywhere now.

Anyone know of a place that is getting through?

That's my luck, first time ordering from overseas and it was intercepted. On a 2nd attempt with different name and address, and the package has been held up in LA for a week now. Keeping my fingers cross though. If it does get snatched again, might give up on the whole shipping overseas game. Odds don't seem to be in my favor at least.

I just received my order from Sow Amazing Seeds last week.
I agree with you about the overseas situation, so I looked into ordering from a Canadian seedbank.
Sow Amazing had a lot of good reviews, so I gave them a shot, and they came through.
They have excellent stealth, as my order was untouched by customs.

I'll tell you what's a shame. I'll bet many here who have been collectors for a couple of years, have souvenirs that will likely never be used: unwanted 'freebies', packs where only a couple were tried, maybe even some home made pollen chucking. Or just have so many backed up waiting a turn while mom's and clones are searched for keepers. In all good conscience you just can't toss 'em out, but why use 5 Pineapple Gum when the first 5 were just above average [for instance].

Each time I read where a first timer had their order snatched, it occurs how cool it would be to get a couple of SoS or 'tude freebies to them. Like a food bank for the hungry, many could donate their excess to the needy, if such a means were possible. I'd love to know that a couple of Dinefem White Widows were providing for a brother or sister rather than being chilled for life.

I have an order coming from Herbies. So, far Tracking shows it went to ICS San Fran 9-11 @ 10:09pm then to San Fran USPS Sort Facility 9-12 @ 7:33pm.
So, maybe here in a few days.

Here is my question
Has anyone noticed a pattern with the time delays with your orders when you track them? Such as, delayed more than 24 hrs or days @ ICS?
Or has anyone tracked an order that breezed through in good time and still got Green Taped?

Just throwing this out there.... Let's Solve this Mystery... "Scooby Dooby Dooooo"

I agree it would be interesting and could be helpful to search for patterns in ICS processing. One thing I think would be helpful is to note what day of the week items arrived and what day they left customs. Thinking maybe Fridays and/or weekends might be a little bit more relaxed. Sort of the old cars made on Friday and Monday thing.

I think just like technology for phones, tv's, camera's ect, I think they are detecting no only by the "methods" but better visuals of packages. That is just my opinion. I did get a package after having one confiscated and it was VERY stealth. Not sure if most seed companies will put that much into it. Not going to blow that one by telling.

try herbies again just ask to be sent differently.
Same thing has happened (orders getting taken) numerous times for myself and others here in Australia. Stealth and super stealth are not getting through, taken by customs or postal services,so we just ask for plain packaging or plain envelopes now as they are the majority getting through. If you have to get on the phone and talk to herbies do it I do this and my order always rocks up always in the next 4-5 business days. GL
