so they cannot be left to grow together? even if they are put in a larger pot to promote the root growth? Like co-dominant?

ive always heard that their roots fuse then they start stealing nutes from each other untill one is dead or they both just finish stunted.

I have grown pairs of plants in the same medium sized pot(5 gallons) and they all turned out well. Though they were a little smaller than similar plants in separate pots. Obviously the more room you have for the roots the better but the plants will still grow. Good luck!

Watching with interest since I have the same issue. If the shell would just come off the twins, I could separate them!
