TYPE Q light BULB is it MH ? +REP

I have a lamp with a bulb TYPE Q

And I thought it looked like a MH bulb is it possible .. Here's a picture its not identical but it resembles.

The one i have has like a wire in the bulb that glows redish when low and whiter when set higher

if it doesn't have the chamber in the middle it isnt MH

No theres just the metal string thing too bad +REP

but it does have that chamber in the middle, it also says BLUE on it

check the information on the lamp you have at Grainger.com you can find out Lumens and other information on their site...

Chamber , all i see is a little cyclinder bulb with a string passing threw it

The picture is not the actual bulb , its the same form , but mine doesnt have that little round chamber in the middle and it says nothing on it``

wtf? i have never seen a bulb like that in my life.. would you happen to live in the uk? i'm not sure what it is, but i'm pretty sure its not a mh bulb for srue..

ok.. what did it come out of? did you try that grainger site? i know we have their books at work for supplies and it must be one of the thickest books i have ever seen in my life.. i would think that you would be able to find something in it about that bulb..

the above lamp is a quartz lamp not a MH

Forgot to tell you that Quartz lamps get VERYVERYVERY hot I would not use this to grow with and if you get and body oils on the lamp while installing it into the fixture it will not last very long as the oil will cause a hot spot and kill hte lamp...
