I have some pictures and hopefully someone can help me identify the problem here. The rest of the plant is pretty tho, This comes from the underneath.

I've checked them with a scope... there's no movement at all. Nothing.

I've checked for bugs... but I'm not seeing anything. Those are trichomes. I've even ripped these little buds apart checking for bugs inside. *sigh*

Looks just like the mite damage I got from a buddy sending me a clone and the borg
Starts at the bottom and eats it's way up.
The mites are microscopic, so 30x or more scope is needed
Pull a leaf off at that spot and look

If it's not mites the stem might be rotting or getting mold on the inside. Just cut off any growth like that so it hopefully dosnt spread to the rest of your plant.

And I don't have one of those scopes-thanks for that tip. I pulled a leaf and found it. Thank you SO very much. What did you do with yours? I'm already mid way through week 6...
Since it's already flowering I wouldn't spray it with anything. I would ride it out and if it's really bad after harvest I would do a bud wash and then make some bubble hash. If you would of caught it in veg I would say use BugBeGone it's not organic though. I don't like using no-organic shit but I hate bugs more, so that's the only stuff I will use because it's really effective. And I only spray in veg never in flower that will ruin the buds more then the mites. If you think you will have bugs in flower you can get Benifical Mites that will kill any bad mites that go in your soil/medium befor they reach your plants. There might be some stuff you can spray your plant with in flower but me personally I don't like spraying my buds no matter what.

Green Cleaner and Safer Soap did great
It's mainly down low, so hit those hard every day, alternating between the two,for a week

When I was hit with a mite infestation mid flower I used Green Cleaner as Bob has said above. Worked out well for me. I also took the extra step to do a bud wash at harvest as well.
A bud wash is a good idea and if your growing outside you would want to do a bud wash even if you don't have mites since you get some dirt and other stuff in the buds.

Hey Bob- is there much difference in Green Cure and Green Cleaner? I have Green Cure on hand.

Ya, and Green cleaner isn't cheap but fantastic and safe to consume, and goes a long way
Safer Soap is also , well, safe
Neem is really harsh, so no go in flower except on the lowers
I never saw any on the top buds, but a good wash at harvest is a great idea,I forgot that part, good call @m99smith
I learned a lot when I got THE BORG. Just be sure to clean everything after harvest, spray everything good. That's a good time for neem, but the Green Cleaner is perfect too

I really appreciate your willingness to share all of this. I've never done a wash but I'll look into it. I'm grabbing Green Cleaner and Safer Soap today and will start ASAP. I do a deep clean after each harvest...and will be sure to do it again this time. Maybe...twice. haha
I'm going to learn how to grow from fem seeds and clone myself. No more dirty clones. I've learned my lesson. One crop-thrips/pm/mites...poor girls. And yet the top buds are still frosty and beautiful. Such magical plants.

Scope a few top leaves, probably nothing there, so those should be fine
I found it and my GG4 still have me 13oz, so agree,very tuff plants
