Im down south in the UK, my friend grows outside (me inside) my indoor grows were always much better in size & taste.
I'd always worry about the shit English summer, but those are looking great!
Good luck,

Pinch the tops off the plants now, it'll help keep them bushy and lower to the ground. If one thing stands out in the UK, it's 6ft tall weed plants.

I'm sure you already know about topping but it means you'll get 2 main buds on each plant rather than 1.

I'm only going to top the ones that arent already bushy which could do with a few more branches. The height is not an issue due to their location so they can grow as tall as they like.

There is just a lot of thorn and nettle bushes. The patch where my plants are has just been dug up, it was originally also covered by thick brambles. The soil is just pretty average really. I'd say it has got quite a lot of clay content and I heard somewhere that it's a good thing.

maybe fence those in, animals love marijuana
like buddy said above, a good idea. you dont want a crop like that down a deer's mouth bro. Grab four 3' tall sticks, create a perimeter, buy some cheap chicken wire (shit ll cut ya up lol) and wrap er around the entire plot. Toss some slug repellent, deer repellent, and small critter repellent outside of this fenced in area and your royal. My 2 cents

btw...sick fucking patch man. lol Best of luck:joint:

Alright a fence is on its way, just need to buy a roll of chicken wire.

I have been to our plants today to try and determine sex and its very clear that a lot of them are females. The ones that I think are male I am not 100% sure of so I have not cut them down yet just to be on the safe side.
I was going to top some of the tall skinny ones, but I only ended up topping one plant as they have all became quite bushy recently.

The queen of the crop:
4 1/2 ft

I generally only show the photos of the best plants, but I have about 10 which havent grown very much at all in the past 2 or 3 weeks. They get the same amount of light and water as the tallest one and they look pretty healthy just a bit on the short side. Why is this?

With the short ones top them then the branches will really shoot up and you get two main colas. I had one plant that wouldnt grow much at all until i topped it now its coming along nicely with two fat main colas.

I think that the two big plants might be male my males always grow taller and faster than my males.

Good luck and looking good.

Ok I think I might give that a go then and top them, there is roughly 3 weeks until the start of flowering so is that enough time for the stem to split into 2 for the 2 main colas?

When I checked the biggest tallest one was a female :D

As much as I enjoy sharing the pictures with everyone on here, it is quite a trek to my plants and it's not on my land so I don't really like going there too often please understand, so the next time I'll upload some pictures is probably going to be after the fence has been built and the males have been removed. But stay tuned anyhow.

That's cool and very wise of you just let nature take care of them and check them not to often.

Yeah if you top ihem I hope they shoot up quickly. For me the pics are only good when the plants are budding.

I have an outdoor grower fried with lots of experience(decade plus) and he says, pull up some raspberries and plant ur weed where they grow wild...but then he said that if you can find stinging nettle, its even better.

i think you chose a good spot :)

My outdoor is almost identical to yours; girls same size, and im at lat. 50 so should start flowering in a couple weeks as well. Maybe try LST...four days after the first low-stress training, each girl had at least one new main flower branch. With all that room for extra sunlight on yer patch it may be useful...:joint:

good luck with that chicken wire and dont forget the wire cutters!

i've got a outdoor grow consisting of 11 durban poison and 2 cheese. i've found that in the past month something has been eating some of the plants.i hav spotted the odd small red spider and flies but cant understand how they've done so much damage.the damaged plants hav loads of small holes in the leaves, but every leave they've touched has the same pattern of damage. im growing in uk also and have 6ft and 4ft plants when will they start 2 flower? i will post pics l8r in week. thanks

Theres a lot of flies around, the exact same thing has been happening to me but its only really a problem when they are very small. They will start to flower properly in about 2 weeks from now.
