You guys are experts on here so Im throwin this out there to see what you think. I was at petsmart picking up the air stones and etc when I came across this ultrasonic fogger. It says it simulates the mist of tropical rain forest. What do you think about running a hose from the fogger into the bubbleponics system? Heres a link to what I am talking about http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2753198

spend money on adding aero before attempting to add fog.

Keeping foggers running is truly a pain in the ass,
they clog and crap,...

but the worst thing is they really heat up the res,

which is absolutely unacceptable.

Sup Paco,

I agree with 1888. I use the foggers for cloning and early veg with great success. However, a lot of this depends on the size of your reservoir, depth of the fogger, and water temps. My DIY cloning box is in a fairly warm room so the ambient water temp plus the fogger gives me a res temp of about 76-80. This is just fine for cloning but terrible once you have a decent root system. Clogging isn't much of a problem for me since there isn't a need for a lot of nutes so early in the plant's life. I also clean the disc everytime I do a res change.

As far as using the ultrasonic to enahnce growth for a plant with an established root system in DWC, I can't say there would be much difference besides increased water temps. Generally, the bubbles are more than enough to give you great growth. I would view the fogger method as a great way to kick start a grow, but not much beyond that. Peace and happy growing!
