You don't need to spend a lot on lights or nutes if you are a small hobby grower. Also, most of what you need is in a regular gardening store for a lot cheaper than the hydroponics place.

I got a cheap one. Only $300 Cad although it is listed as $300 American on the site. Does about a half quarter at a time so nothing big but for my personal use it fit perfectly and was budget friendly.
