Upgrading from blurples

Alright so seeing all the posts on here had me jumping the gun and buying 4 132 hlg boards and a driver to run them...

My only consern is that I wasnt considering my wattage, I have 2 viparspectra blurple lights that say 260W+ 3% actual power.... They are growing pretty nice plants...

The new boards at 2000mA will only push 68watts ea equaling 272 altogether... So all four of these panels are going to push roughly half the wattage...

It's all being grown in a 2'x4' tent.
Im just not sure if the claimed better quality light is going to make up for having less light being pumped out.

I dont have enough plants right now to do a side by side test but I plan on doing one eventually... Maybe I should get boards with more diodes to make it a little more fair.

I use almost exact rig in one of my 2x4 genetic test tents. Usually with barely any training since I'm just trying to find worthy genetics I hit well over 1gpw. What driver are you using? I'd buy a kilowatt meter and test your qb rig and also those blurples.

I read somewhere someone was really impressed with their setup with the same boards and this hlg 320h c2100a, just gotta make sure not to overdrive the lights

I like hearing your guys' confidence. Lights are in, might hafta lower em a little bit... Reading lower on my lux meter than the old lights did

You're gonna love those. What you want is a par/ppfd reading. Lux/lumens are not good metrics. Also a lot of the blurple lights have good ppfd numbers but not the results. Shannanagins, maybe. Great results with the quantums!

272 w of QB set up the way you do is all youll need in a 2x4.
Just flowered a 5x5 with 256w QB 322's i think or longer on an experimental run & was pleasantly surprised.
Seeing how you didnt get the RSpec it might not be a bad idea to get the red strip addition, x1 on each side.
