Upgrading LED Lights

Crazy how I just realized my clones weren’t getting enough light—too soft, not enough for photosynthesis. Turned up the intensity and saw a big change in hours. Gonna run some tests to dial it in moving forward. Funny how the light felt bright since it’s above my head, but the plants weren’t feeling it. Big lesson in light intensity today.

Should learn how to revive my pheno as a skill. If thats the issue, finding new genetics is proving to be tough. What if I knew how to revive all my phenos if all was well and was the only issue. How would I go about that, reversing? Or Selfing.. Can you do anything once you lose the pheno tho? Or am I just stuck with the traditional process.

I forget how it goes if I ever did but to my knowledge I can only replicate the same genetically stunted plant right? I heard making a F1 will revive the vigor. Selfing would only replicate the bad genetics right.. Shit idk what Im doing. Its so bad I might have to go on a full on bean hunt like now, next run.

That would really suck if a pheno only last a couple years 6-8 generations many stunting. I read og kush fades quick. If thats true my phenobis basically og kush and even the distinct og kush flavor is fasing when its at its steongest freshly pressed.

Wel this amherst sour d is basically chemdog super skunk and chemdog known to produce hash. Balls too but if I get a good clean pheno.. Grape diamonds lookin promising review wise.

If I chop these other plants and they press well thatd be a thinker. That I didnt lose the pheno but that it could still produce only half the hash and bud. Or that Im starting to lose it so study each plant and mother the best one and only take cuts from that. Then hope for the best.

I almost hope I lost the pheno but then again its not much better if I didnt. Both are crappy realitys and both can be the case.

I started out no plant training it was tiny buds and mostly shaded airy larf. Id machine trim and always get 12%. Then I started plant training and hand trimming and got 20% or just under for a bit. Then it started dropping as low as 15-16% and now 12% from two clones side by side.

So yea. I didnt realize this hobby would take so much problem solving people be saying KISS and etc but ya. I just get problem after another.

Would yall say this fuel thing is 5/16” OD? It comes up quick many fuel lines and tubing in general. 5/16” ID tubing needed? Its about 2.5” high from the gas can here Id run the tubing to, to drain the old gas. Or should I use something with a more shallow brim? Id say I need the tubing but maybe a 2 gallon bucket maybe?

I have the same two tent sizes. I upgraded my old Kessil H350 LED’s, that actually did grow nice plants to LED light bars. In the smaller tent I got a Spider farmer SF3000. Great light! For the larger 3X3 I went with an AC Infinity EVO4. Both lights are excellent quality. The EVO4 has slightly better led diodes. Seems to be slightly more powerful. The Siderfarmer has a bit more precise rotary dimmer knob. While the Evo is adjustable in 10% increments from 0-100%. Both lights are better coverage and more powerful, and will serve you well.

Draining the gas was easy. Short floraflex 1/4” tubing right into the gas can. Drains slow. Need to tilt it to get every last drop of gas out. Put fresh gas with stabilizer ran genny for 15 mins with a space heater plugged in to provide some load so it cycles fuel as fast as possible. Or else I heard it barely cycles any gas.

Now to change the oil soon since its been a year at that point so the additives it needs have expired. Or is that only with cars? After all it dont burn efficiently its equal to a few hundred cars sitting in idle in terms of carbon monoxide.

I got detectors in the house 5 of them. None went off even with my portable single hose ac exausting out and drawing air through cracks, negative air pressure.

Could do propane but its a propane in the butt to have all them damn tanks. The worst part is they burn faster than equal amount of gas so its just not worth it. No space for it really and propane can still emit carbon monoxide as it gets older and doesnt burn all the propane causing carbon monoxide.

I havent seen anyone worry about it and I think Im less worried about it. Its got space to air out everything is being followed protocol. Its actually double the recommended distance from home.
