...and if you do not purchase the "guaranteed" shipping option, The Attitude will not reship. Colorado and Washington have made the possession of cannabis legal, but, apparently, nobody has told Customs, so they are intercepting packages from Attitude, removing the seeds and putting a note inside.

Since The Attitude has not adapted to this tactic of Customs, I don't see how they can expect anyone in the US to order from them, even with the "guarantee". I suggest purchasing seeds from other sources. Several posters have mentioned a change at The Attitude regarding their customer service, and I can echo that sentiment, I'll never do business with them again.

Yes, I get that there is a problem with cannabis seeds at the federal level in the US, and that shipping is risky, but I also see the website at The Attitude offering shipping to the US, but no mention that there is a high probability you will NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER.

Yup, guess chi-town has nothing better to do than rip on stoners. I just got my order in from the tude yesterday, north east US went through Ny. I got the guarantee for nothing, went through 1st time. I did however have to sign for my package, something I've never had to do before... kinda weird

You do realize, that if weed were legal in all states, you still could not legally order seeds without a permit. You cannot order any kind of seeds from out of country and have them mailed to you without a permit.

Importing Seeds into the US
Small Lots of Seed Program

For some years, it has been necessary to send a Phytosanitary Certificate with all seeds imported into the USA. This regulation was put in place because of fears that species of plants not native to the United States might spread and displace native species.

This has meant that it has been almost impossible for people in the United States to obtain seeds from other countries legally, which has been a serious difficulty for small seedhouses and specialist nurseries, as well as an

inconvenience for ordinary gardeners who wished to exchange seeds with gardeners in other countries.

APHIS (the US Department responsible for Plant Health) have now relaxed these rules for the importation of small quantities of seed. It is no longer necessary to have such seed inspected and to obtain a Phytosanitary Certificate from

the exporting country. Instead, the person in the US who wishes to import seeds on a small scale may now apply for an Import Permit which will allow them to bring seeds into the United States, subject to certain conditions. Details of how to obtain a Permit are on the APHIS website:

http://www.aphis.usda.gov/ppq/Q37/smalllotsseed.html
.
The Permit is free, and is valid for three years. During that time, a resident in the US may import any number of lots of up to 50 packets of seed (each packet containing not more than 50 seeds), provided they are packed and labelled in

accordance with the rules. Obviously, seeds of species which are normally prohibited are not allowed into the US under the new Small Lots of Seed Program. Seeds must be completely cleaned of soil, chaff, husks, etc., and complete fruits

and berries are not allowed in under the new rules. More details are on the APHIS website.

So, even if weed is legal we will still go through this to order seeds, unless we register with the government and get a permit.

so let me get this straight.. if you don't pay the extra for guaranteed, the attitude won't reship the seeds to you if they get caught because you opted not to use the guarantee??
omfg, how dare they?? wtf are they thinking??

there are plenty of things to bitch about about the tude, but this is pretty ridiculous imo..

and umm, just because two states made cannabis quasi legal in those states, you do understand that possession of live cannabis anything, be it seeds, stems, or clones, is still very much
against the federal law as cannabis is still a schedule 1 drug and all right? and you do get that customs is a federal agency, enforcing federal laws and what not?? jesu..

and you do understand it's all seedbank's that are getting caught in customs right??

Knock on wood about your orders getting through NY. Give em another 6 to 12 months and orders that pass through NY will most likelly be F'd too. The tudes zero stealth has caught up to them IMO.

Lost my order in LA during a govt shutdown. Attitude knows that a large number of US orders are being lost to customs. Their website mentions the guarantee being needed "in the very unlikely circumstance that the order is lost in shipping". I call BS. A glance at the online forums tells the tale, a large number of orders are being messed with and Attitude needs to make adjustments, starting with warning customers about the risk and insuring all orders against this problem. I should have checked here first, instead of after. You people in the 48 states that have not yet legalized, please get it done and help make these problems go away.

I almost think theirs just more orders going out west I've heard of a bunch of fools moving out west so they can grow a bunch of weed and be legal shit I halfway wanna go out to Calli and setup a huge greenhouse. Their's just too many growers out west same reason the weeds so cheap.

Wonder how Attitude is going to get orders to their "guaranteed" customers. Hope they step up their game, I enjoyed doing business with them until this interdiction nonsense escalated and their "guarantee" became essential, and even with it there may be no more seeds coming from them. I do not understand how Attitude can continue to ship non-guaranteed orders when they know that a great many will not make it. That is unethical to sell seeds knowing that they can't be delivered. Attitude will be losing money from all the non-guarantee folks who cancel their CC payment after losing their orders to customs.

imvho, you've got to be a pretty big dirt bag to cancel a cc payment because your seeds got caught by customs..
