UV and Reflectors

I'm using a 315W CMH, and was wondering how much UV will I lose if I use the glass lid on my reflector?

Also, is it important to have UV throughout veg. and flowering, or does it become more beneficial during late stage flowering?

What kind light do you use for the uv

So pretty. Led or photoshop?

It's LED and the colors are all REAL life colors. No Filters.

PowerVeg - specific nanometer bulbs and I use Gavita Plasma and LED

You will definitely loose some UV if it has to go through glass. Remember, there is UV in natural sunlight. That is what we are trying to duplicate inside our grow rooms. Use UV the entire time, just like it would get if you were growing outside.

doesn't have enough (if any) UV to worry about

Very nice purples there.

Do normal Gavita Pros put out any uv. I know the bulb is a full spectrum bulb but being that they are not air cooled and no glass is blocking would uv be emitted from them?
