I was searching different threads a few months ago on Google and I found a comparison of different uv lamps manufacturers with uv output spectral densities, etc but now I can't find it again. It showed comparison of agromax pure uv, solacure flower power, etc. Does anybody have any comparison docs against the different uv lamp options? Thanks for help!

I wonder which uvb diodes migro was testing.
He tested uvb led and found it had practically no uvb.
Makes me wonder about all the uvb diodes on digikey and offered by other companies currently. He did find the uva diodes produced solid amounts.

Led flouros seem to be king .... still.

Yes sir, i own a couple solacure.
Just cant work them into led system due hanging distance required. I will probably pick up arcadia lamps per randomblames recommendations for the shorter distance .
Folks looking for uv info should use the search function and look for contribution from Randomblame (member here at riu). He contributed a great deal.

Interesting. I just can't listen to his slow speech pattern and the constant swallowing like he is burping up lunch drove me nuts!

When using LED, I supplement my lighting with 2 X agromax pure UV, from week 6 until they are done, I do 3 minutes per hour, and I also use 2 X ATI coral plus all through flower. It works for me, as it kicks-out bigtime trichome production! And sometimes some very strange looking trichomes, like trichomes stacked repeatedly on top of each other, crazy!

Lol, sounds pretty cool man. I'm afraid of those Pure UV, from what I've heard. And the california lightworks bulb/fixture as well. Very powerful.
What height are they at, and what height is your main light at?

I just read a long article on this. Basically they decided that these small uvb bulbs don't produce enough to make a difference. And they would need to be like 6"-10" over the plants. How many would you need , a lot. Even then the amount of UVB still isn't enough to stimulate extra production.

...Link to article please?
What do you mean "small" uvb bulbs? You talking about uvb leds? Yea, they're not 'there' yet.
Thanks.
