To help mask the smell you can take a soda bottle and cut it in half. Take the top half and fill it with dryer sheets. Don't skimp on dryer sheets, get the good brands that smell the most. After you've filled the bottle with the dryer sheets, take one and stretch it across the bottom and fasten it down with an elastic band. Blow all your smoke through the soda bottle (blow where you would drink it from).
Vaping + this should = problem solved.
edit: too stoned to realize brownbearclan posted this first. I still recommend soda bottle over paper towl roll. The roll can leak some of the smoke/vapor.
