Veg & Flower same room humidity?

Hey All,

Everything I've read says 60-70% during veg and below 45% for flower.

I was planning/hoping to have both veg/flower going at the same time in the same room.

Anyone else done this, if so where did you keep the humidity, and what were the results?

Thanks.

You really dont want to if you can at all help it. It's okay and benifitial for veg, but will rot out those flowers. You can do it though. Maybe put some really good air circulation around your flowering plants, with a fan. But, could you control the humidity level if you are separating them enough to run different light cycles? Maybe with a dehumidifier in your flowering chamber?

Any lower than 45% in flower your buds shrivel and tricomes never swell..
You are right on. It might be kind of touchy with a dehumidifier. However some heavy indica leaning plants can tolerate low humidity better than stretched out sativas.( I thought I'd add that even though it doesnt really apply here)

Currently I am only flowering autos so both veg/flower are on the same light cycle.

Temp stays 75-78 and RH 60-65%.

dehumidifier set to 60% measurements taken about 6’ off the floor hanging on wall.

Just a guesstimate would put your humidity at 7-12% higher. Turn the de humid down to 15% less than desired. Adjust from there. Get another hygrometer for canopy level.013.jpg

I'm in a basement. RH 47-52% max. Normally 3-5% lower in the tents due to the lights. Tent temps 78f on, 66-68f off. (Edit... 8 different strains. None seem to mind...)

Been dealing with this since I moved. I ended up with a spare room so flowering tent in corner next to window for exhaust, I veg in the closet with a 4' x8 bulb t5 opposite side of room.

Humidity is my concern being optimal for veg growth. Temps are all low to mid 70s maybe low 80s top of canopy in flower. With it being a bit cooler my apt is swinging between 35rh middle of night to 50 to 55 during day , starts coming down around 11. Humidifier comes today. Can I set it at say 60 for the room.. I figure the lights and extraction intent will keep it below that at a more early flower the till I need to drop it all down.. it gets to the upper 30s rt now even with lights on..seems too low for this early. Only thing in veg is a couple of clones I just took and some seedlings that just popped20201209_234000.jpg

Looks like you did the same boneheaded thing I did which was to paint (spraypaint?) the plastic lids before preparing them and then realizing afterwards that all of that paint will just flake off lol. In my case the plastic underneath isn't a nice green colour though, it's a bright orange reminder to prepare your surfaces before you paint them lol.

Yeah. :)
I've learned a trick or two since then luckily.
