It looks good but what diodes does it really have?? " Groplanner LED grow light adopt the top grade LEDs equal to Sumsung 301H SM grade flux bin." I would be wary without solid evidence backing all their claims. Me personally would go with anything with actual samsung diodes that is with in my budget.

You are lowering your wattage
That is the only problem I see if you want better veg results up the wattage not lower
I'm hopeful the 150w will be enough for me. The 250w mh does great, I am just looking for something a little more efficient than using a 600w ballast with a 400w bulb running @ 250 watts. :)

How bad can the diodes be if they achieve the results on the page? I have no idea if they are as they say or not, but it would be rather good performance. It's definitely not impossible to make a great fixture using other leds beside samsung lm301. It's just an efficient diode, but use more of a little less efficient diode and you can match it. It's not magic. The unit looks very well made for the price imo.
Just stop. You're in a forum offering bad advice. The light being discussed doesn't have some unbelievable price, so as others have mentioned, you can get a quality light for just a few bucks more and not have to play guessing games.

@Horselover fat Five years from now there will be a some new diode pushing 3.5 and all these guys will be knocking LM301B as if they can’t grow good pot lol.
Yeah, i used to use 561s. Now I use 301s. Tech gets better. That's how it works. What diodes are on the light being discussed? Do you know? I sure don't. How reliable are the numbers they are throwing around?

No I don’t know either. And I can’t see them being very reliable. I’m just saying it’s not like he’s buying an incandescent lol

How's the light?

FWIW - I picked up great semi-DIY lighting from https://growdaddyleds.com/
I went with 2 racks for my flowering tent - 12 561 bars in all - eight 2,700k & four 6,500k running off of two XLG-240's - growdaddy's suggested spectrum for a flower-only 4x4 space (half my 4x4 ) - plants are under them now if you want to see if they work....

It's great, but I found that a 100w is more than enough for my 2x2, and I prefer 2- 220w boards running @ 100w each to cover my 4x4 for veg.
The 150w is a nice "gap filler", but it's now on the shelf next to the 315 cmh, 3-600w hps and the 3-1000w hps atm...

You could also check out the iL5x LED light. It is on the expensive side, but its amazing for veg state... I have a friend who runs it on his tent and has seen some fire results. On the other hand, I just use 2 iLBars that are 80w each and on the cheaper side
