Veg room

So this is the issue at hand. I have an area 6'x8' for vegetative grow space, with plenty of over head room. I'm currently using t5's. I want more so to speak. If want to get the most out of that space as I can what series of lights or single light would you think due the best job, and at what piont would it become overkill? Ventelation is well taken care of so its not an issue...btw.

Buy a 400 halide and use the t-5's as side lighting. Can you say BUSH?

the point of overkill is reached when the temps rise to the point that it becomes detrimental to the grow. If you have massive ventilation, use massive light.

good luck

depending on how many clones you need to crank out a month, i have a 3x4x6 veg room that will house my 6 mothers in 15 gallon pots and a shelf above for my clones. itake 10 clones from each mother every 22 days or so. t5's for the clones plus a 250watt MH for the mums

Thanks guys, thats what I needed to know. I'm lucky enough to have all this space. Like I said the veg room is 6'x8', I have 3 times more room to flower in. I would like to grow large plants rather than a bunch of small ones.

then you should get a 400watMH for you clones in veg, veg em till they are 1.5ft or so. then into flower, with all that room you can veg alot of plants under that 400watts if you have small enough pots, 1-2 gallon. i would flower in 7 gallons at the least, or 5gallon buckets if those are easier to come by. good luck! peace
