Veg time for 1lb plant

If you want to pull a pound from a single plant, you need a root system which is developed enough to support such a large plant. Personally I'd shoot for a 12-week veg time before flipping, focusing largely on root health and development during veg. SCROG is certainly the way to go.

Good luck hitting the goal man. I been working on this for almost 12 weeks. I have since pulled her branches back down to grow out. It's in a 27"x27" tent. I am going to do my best to make sure I can fit it all in there later after flip (In a few weeks) She is only 5" tall off the soil as of now with 30 tops. I have a question that's great for this crowd. How much stretch can I expect on the branches.. am I still on the 2-3x the size? TIA.
Personally hoping to get 200+g's Not asking about yield tho.. just the stretch on a plant grown like this. IMG_8146.JPG

Depends on the strain. I have a strain that if I was to flip it like that, it would fill up a 4x4. Other strains might fill less than half that space.

I think people need to keep something in mind who want to try growing big plants indoors, and that's to do it for fun or to relieve boredom or just for a challenge. It will not provide you with "more medicine" as the OP suggests. Most of us have a grow limit of more than a single plant in legal areas/countries, and we also grow in a fixed amount of space like a grow tent.

I can guarantee you can fill a 5X5 tent (25 square feet) with colas growing 4 smaller plants in a much shorter grow duration than a single plant in a 5X5. That means on an annual basis, your square foot production in your space will be considerably higher if we take advantage of our plant count and flip sooner.

Thanks for the reply.
It's glueberry muffins - (Citral glue x blueberry muffins) - more on the indica side.. so I wouldn't "expect" much of a stretch.. but the plant can easily say "F U" and take off on me lol I want to maximize.. I'll get a 3x3 tent if I run into problems. I want her to widen out tho. I don't want to have issues with air flow. I may put a few computer fans in the center of the plant by the base of the stalk to move air better. I'll prepare for the worst.

It looks like a pretty compact plant, so I'd expect it to double in size during stretch. I've grown BB Muffin a couple of times, and it didn't stretch excessively. It was great smelling and tasting weed, by the way, but lacked in high.

You can get 1 pound/plant in your setup up for sure. I pull 2lbs from that space from 1 plant without CO2. Although being in soil you may not hit the numbers. I flip to flower 3-4 months from day of cutting or seed planting; so give it a few more weeks. Is the canopy full yet? If you have 1/2-3/4 full canopy and thick stem you can flip. pic would help

That's beautiful but that is a lot of QBs for 1.9 lbs.

That's going to be a tight squeeze for 3lbs.
If you're wanting 1lbs+ plants, they'll need their space.

That gelato + gdp comfortably took up a 4x4 space in the tent for about 2.5lbs.

Looks good, but I'd run 2 in there the next time.
Thank you
I hopefully will be able to get close with 750w of led I will have in there
SF4000 and (3) SF1000s
Sure will be a tight tent lol
