Veg -> To Bloom Transition & Mixture Strengths

I expect to get 50 different answers from this question, and that is OK. Hopefully there will be a more popular general consensus that will give me some better guidance.

Every year, all my girls do great and seem to produce well, but theres always room for improvement. My typical transition when switching to bloom is to continue grow nutrients but slowly increase the amount of bloom, and decrease the amount of grow over the following 3 weeks. At week 2, I turn the HPS on and remove the MH.

Typically what happens to me is that I get some plants starting to yellow earlier than they should while others stay nice and green. I mostly use the Earth Juice line, with General Organics for my CalMag and Grow. This is my first year with the GO grow - in the past I've always used EJ grow. I've always used chemical PH up to this year but am now using Olympus PH up due time articles I was reading about chemical PH up hurting organic nutes. During bloom, I supplement with a Nectar of The Gods P mix (cant think of the exact name now) on top of the EJ Bloom, EJ micro, and GO calmag.

As for feed strengths, I typically shoot for the medium strength mixtures 1 time a week with distilled waterings in between. My grow shop guy tells me to do heavy feedings every watering, but for all I know, hes telling me that so I buy more nutes from him.

How long do you feed grow into the bloom cycle? For those using general organics and earth juice, what strength mixtures do you use? What are your thoughts on the choice of nutes I'm using? Thanks!
