Vegetative state... is it time to put this baby for budding (PICS)

Hi
I'm a newbie, previous efforts to bud have failed
I have been growing this outdoor for 3 months and its almost about a foot in height
Have been giving it natural sunlight, Red soil and water for growth
Have been spraying it with fertilizers from time to time

I'm growing this in a temperate zone so it gets roughly about 7-8 hours of good direct sunlight
result of which some leaves turn yellow and fall off

My question is:
Do I need to make any improvements?
Is it ready for budding (12/12) stage?

looks good!

When you add fertilizers to water...ALWAYS check your Ph and raise it to the correct level before administering.
If this is overlooked, your soil will be too acidic and eventually give you all sorts of problems....

Oh, and leaves turning yellow and falling off, that's due to lack of nutrients many times... not lack of sunlight
Nitrogen is what keeps the leaves green... Nitrogen deficiency will turn your leaves yellow as the plant cannibalizes every last bit of N it can find.

I'd look into a nutrient schedule and a Ph kit...
