Vent for 5x5 with 1000watt HPS

I upgraded my setup a little bit and moved into a 5x5x80 tent. I also purchased a 1000w light that has a 8" tube. I currently only have a 6" 442cfm fan and filter, can I just get a reducer or should I move up to a 8? Thanks.

You could get a reducer for like $10 and test your 6" fan see if the room temp will stay cool enough. If not then drop the money on a 8" fan. I personally don't think the 6" will be enough on its own unless you have another fan exhausting the tent or an ac in there.
