Ventilation For a Stealth grow cabinet.

Hi guys! First off let me state i'm a complete newbie. I have no grows under my belt and i am looking for help getting my first grow started. I've been searching the web day and night, and I am looking for some help. I'm trying to get a stealth grow box setup in this little cabinet I have. Being generous the dimensions are as follows 3x2x4. However it looks like plenty of room to me, after all i've seen things grown in pc boxes.

Getting back on track, for the lighting I have decided on getting a pro grow 180. I decided to use LED to help hide the power use on the bill (I have a roommate who wouldn't take kindly to this project of mine) and to help cut back on the heat in such a confined space. I will be doing a soil grow so no worries on a hydro setup.

The one thing I am having trouble on is trying to decide how I am going to mask the smell when the plant is flowering. I have a OG kush seedling growing already, and if it turns out to be female it is the one plant I plan on growing. If it dies, or turns out to be male I will buy more seeds online. I do not know how strong smelling this strain is while flowering, and I've considered getting a 4" inline fan with carbon filter. However I think it might be too loud, and as I've said I am trying to be as stealthy as possible, for both smell and sound.

I would really appreciate any help from you guys and look forward to be putting a grow journal up here so you can follow my adventure with me.

I would definitively get more light or put them closet to that plant of yours. Need to stop that stretch.

How big is that area that you plan on growing in? You may be able to get away with using a flat carbon filter for that grow. Kinda like a fish tank filter. As long as you can get the air to move threw it for ventilation. I have done this. Homemade flat filter though not a purchased fish tank filter. But it kind of look similar to this.

Let me know what size that space is and we will see what you can get away with.

With you never growing before I would go with a 150 watt hps or t5 if money is tight. LEDS are hit or miss and Im afraid you may be a victim of marketing if you go that route. With your setup I would get a 250 watt hps with an aircooled hood attached to a CanFan 33 with a 6 inch inline fan. If you would get this setup plus a Fan Speed Controller you should be controlling heat, air exchanges, lighting, NOISE, and SMELL very efficiently. This setup is not cheap, but if you plan on growing get used to it

Don't worry about the electric bill, your grow is too small to raise any suspicion. Trust me when I say you need to get your security (stealth, ventilation, smell control) under control before you do anything else. Avoid DIY carbon filters, save yourself the headache and just get the canfan. I have used numerous filters in the past and the only one that has worked for me at any level has been the Can Fan 33. Once again this filter, plus a 6 inch inline fan, plus a speed controller will be great. They are kind of bulky, but just put it inside of a storage bin or something if you want further security from your roommate

I do not have the seedling under a light yet, i've just had it in my window sill. I will head to lowes tomorrow though and grab some cfls to hold me over. The inside dimensions of that closet are 3x2x4. How loud would a 4" inline fan like this be http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-A-GrowBright-4in-Inline-Fan-&-Carbon-Filter-Combo.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Pro Grow 180 and seen plenty of videos to back it up. Even a couple of grow diaries on this site. Money isn't really a super factor either however, i'm not trying to get too crazy. I would be comfortable dropping 600 to get this grow going.

Thanks so much for the help so far guys!!!!!!
