Vertical lighting grow

Has anyone ever grown with the light vertical. And I mean with no hood. Just the bulb. Gonna be Using 600 watt lighting with four plants surrounding it.

nope but seen it on a video on hightimes on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4odpIVLNro it looks like it works cause u could put the light on the bottom of the plant for the plant to grow bigger i dont know sounds like it works

A caregiver told me that he grows at least 3 pounds per plant on 1000 watt lighting and dwc with four plants per light. Just wanted some insight on this from some one else who has done it. Thanks for the link on the vid.

well yeah but having the lights horizontal on the tops and for extra lights have them on all sides vertically. if you dont have them on the top then your plants will lean to the side.
