very strange... has anyone ever seen this- buds forming on leaf centers

so im on day 1 of week 4 in flower. i noticed something very strange that ive never seen or ever heard of. one of my plants has 2 leaves that have buds forming in the very center of the leaves. forgive me for my ignorance of the correct terminology, but its where all the leaf blades branch out from, or the very end of the petriole (leaf stem). also sorry for the shitty pics. my camera doesnt zoom very good.

That's odd. I have never seen or heard of that. Keep us posted on if they grow and how they smoke.

Oh shit that was you as well? Do you live on some kind of radioactive hot spot or something? What are you growing them in? And I'm not sure if it really matters but did your seeds look okay? I planted one odd looking seed and it came out all kinds of fucked up.

it happens sometimes no big deal... just think of them as little tester popcorn nuggets... just alot more delicious than kfc popcorn chicken nuggets

lol na man just a regular old suburb lol. but i am sucked in to nutrient manufacturer marketing. im given em all kinds of supplements. but they seem to love it. growin strong and extremely fast.

i imagine those kfc popcorn nugs will be a bit more delicious after i smoke a popcorn nugget first. guess we ll see. do u know what causes this? is it a genetic thing?

Seen it before, it seems to be pretty rare.

Very common i actually have a leaf right now that on the stem a budlet formed and started growing

Its just crossed up genetics iv seen it a few times now over the years

i have been very lucky so far w my 1st real grow. i hope i didnt just jinx myself lol. ive been lucky enough to screw up, but not have any real bad effects. its been a great experience for me. ive learned a ton about plants, and life in general.! i love every bit of it. ive got 12 plants in week 4 of flower that are 4'-6" to 5' tall. the buds look great. even most of the leaves look great. im hooked for life. my wife is so tired of it cuz i spend every second of free time reading or learning on the net lol. but i dnt think shes gonna get tired of smoking some killer ganj.
