Foreign mercenaries tend to be attacked, they get paid 4x/5x more than your troops over there for a reason.
So if your getting paid more money than the troops it makes you a bad person? Not following.

So you are suggesting that because some were hung from a bridge or beheaded, that Iraqi civilians should have tolerated Blackwater aggression?

The false leadership that has not ended the war is to blame. Who else should be held accountable? These forces could have been brought home a long time ago as we were promised. Until our troops and mercs are removed hatred and atrocity will continue.
I agree, but this does not contradict my statement that Blackwater deserves blame for prolonging the war by stirring conflict. I went one step further by opining that the mercenaries enjoy this activity. There are many to blame, but if you are suggesting that the Obama administration is to blame for not ending the war, I can only retort that the neocons in the previous administration are to blame for starting it even more. I'll reiterate though, that because Obama took so long to end this conflict despite that he campaigned on a promise to end it within 16 months, he deserves blame as well in my opinion. Change I could believe in during the first term wold have been nice. Unlike any other candidate, he (vaguely) opposes war and cannabis prohibition and expresses it with mixed signals which IS change, I just don't believe in it. Would I rather have Romney? Fuck no.
No contradiction intended. I agree completely. Spent a few years in the mideast- Kuwait-Iraq-Afghanistan. I did not enlist for that crap, but I went and finished my service there. I would not re-enlist after that. Didnt remind me a whole lot of what we should be about in the end. All of those I know who are there want to come home. Very dissapointed with both parties for reasons you mention and others as well. Romney, what the hell kind of choice is that? Might as well just stop having elections if all we get to choose from are these(not nice words)
