Has anyone tried to use Vinegar (Usually about 5% Acetic Acid) to lower their PH? It seems like it would be ideal and alot cheaper than Ph Down additive.

never used vinegar for fear of it flavouring my weed,i stick with concentrated lemon juice, though others do use vinegar which obviously works for them

I'm interested to know about this. Anyone successfully do this kind of thing and how?

Also, is there a guide on testing and correcting ph in soil properly. I hear run-off/flushing etc but need a comprehensive guide.

Well I have now been using the vinegar for about 1 week now. It appears to work just great... but I also, worry that it may negatively flavor the weed. The plants are responding well to the vinegar though.

I suggest u use lemon juice it's pure acid, and also ive been told by alot of people that vinegar makes ur buds taste sick man.

Just cut a small yellow lemon and cut it into 4 pieces and squirt about 1/2 of a teaspoon to a gallon and that gets ur ph to about 6.7

apple cider vinegar. as long as you flush for 2wks you shouldnt taste anything no matter what you use. i use vinegar as an organic substatute.
