Vivosun LED

You can't really trust Amazon reviews though. They've been busted for allowing fakes for money. Plus some companies give free stuff for reviews.
True. Vivosun isn't the best on the market by no means with products they come out with but they do have a standard of product that seems to get it done for the most part. At least my tent has been holding up for 3 years. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on the a/c infinity version to replace it. :bigjoint:

They’re probably fine. I wouldn’t get them personally but I’m sure they will get the job done. If budget lights are what you want I would check out that sub forum for online deals. People share whatever is a discounted there.

another route, I bought second hand LEDs off OfferUp. Lots of wannabe large ops opening up and closing in under 3 months. Some with even provide recites. HLG replaced a power supply for me just based off the serial number.
Now some people would frown upon used equipment but it served me well.

I have a VS1000. It's not a bad little light and my first foray into LED's. It vegged these plants just fine. The light is built nice. The quality is decent. I also have 2 of their tents and one of their HID lights. Everything has worked flawlessly since being purchased 4 years ago. I've only had the LED for about a year but no complaints with that either. I'll continue to use Vivosun equipment because it's a good value for what you get and it gets the job done. If I decide in the future to swap out my Vivosun HID for an LED in the flower tent I'll probably get a Vivosun light.

One tent I’m using VS 4000 (400watt) , the other tent runs 2xvs2000 (2x200watt) ….reason why I run 2x 2000 is I can use one for veg or if I want throw that in flower… I don’t run 100% till till flower or if I grow huge , either or I have flexibility…..36552914-92F7-4547-BA19-6FEE4D243FA4.jpegB761A2F2-6348-48D6-A83C-7E6C9DF22DFF.jpeg1FE8356A-5390-43CA-9965-674971D0E9FF.jpeg

I get worried about quality control. I use your inline fans and charcoal filters and I’ve even used a tent and have no complaints. With LEDs I get more worried. I just feel more comfortable with brands like HLG who have a reputation for quality lights. I suppose they maybe put a lot of energy into marketing themselves to be known for quality.

things like charcoal filters I can verify are working with just my nose.Tents i can visually check. LED’s, well, I can’t really prove they’re quality without expensive equipment. I can’t really prove you’re using quality diodes. It’s a higher risk in the long run. It’s not really a fair accessment, I know I’m biased. Don’t want to harsh on you guys, you seem swell and active in the community. It’s just my opinion.

Using quality diodes ? Unless Samsung 301h is not quality … maybe do some research and just not here , go look at Samsung website and see who does use there diodes , mite be surprised ….

I was under the impression that all diodes come in different bin grades. So they may all say Samsung 301h but I’m not sure if have to indicate which bin.

again I want to state that I’m just explaining my point of view. I have no authority in this matter.

Shoot us a message if you get a chance. Your plants are looking great.

P-600 was my first non blurple LED. I think their LEDs are pretty solid quality and a fair price! I have 5-6, ranging from 600 eq to 2000 eq and have had sound performance from all with no problems!

This sum it up. No one wants to bash them because they’re hoping they will sponsor them.
I doubt it's that. It has more to do with it being a no no to bash paying advertisers. I'm not sponsored. I payed for all my Vivosun gear and am very satisfied with my purchases. Grow equipment doesn't have to be expensive to work good. Tents, lights, etc... almost everyone is putting out decent products these days. Some just charge more. Same thing with nutrients. Some people spend a ton of money on them and don't do any better than the guy that spent $15 for a bag of Maxibloom.

I've had people tell me that I should have gotten a Gorilla tent because the frame is stronger, material is thicker, etc... The frame for the Vivosun is more than strong enough to hold what I need it to hold. I'm not doing pull ups with it which is something some always like to point out as if it matters which it doesn't. The material might be thinner than the Gorilla but it's thick enough to block out the light and create a pitch black environment for the night cycle. I guess I could have purchased a Gorilla tent for 3 times as much but that would not have made any sense. I'd rather keep that money in MY bank account not just spend it so I can brag about doing pull ups in my grow tent.

I guess I don't see anything to bash. Can you name something? How many of their products have you used that you were not satisfied with?
