Vortex or JTR? TGA Strain Advice

Im trying to decide which strain to add to my collection.

Vortex and Jack the Ripper seems to be what I am looking for but am concerned they are too close to genetics I already have.

Both look very tasty but I have some similar genes in my garden so I am looking for some advice.

Im currently running C-99, Apollo 11, Connie, and Qleaner. As well as others not as related.

Any recommendations on which might be a better choice based on my current strains?

Is the Vortex too simliar to Apollo 11 or C-99 to make it worth adding?

Is there another TGA strain besides Vortex and JTR that might be a better choice? I have considered JC2

Im looking for the best Sativa Dom with the best Sativa style high I can get.

Yield is not as important as quality.

Taste/Flavor is important.

Also I am a med patient with severe muscles spasms. So relief from this is also a consideration.

Cheers!

From what you said about preferring a sativa, taste, quality and what you have now I'd suggest taking a closer look at JC2.

Between JTR and Vortex I'd go with Vortex.

I find this is treated better with a Heavy Indica Like Querkle

I have noticed my muscle spasms are definitely treated better with a heavy Indica. I have considered Querkle as well. In fact its what turned me on to TGA gear. Already running Urkle,GDP,PK so I think this time I will go with something a little more Sat based. Looking for some variety.

Thanks for the feedback!

I've got the j.c.2 and vortex...they are ABSOLUTE must haves. you have apollo and cindy- think j.c.2 male, and vortex male. I will eventually have to reorder j.c.2 just for a male, because overall there's a low % of males in sub's seeds. I'm looking to do a blue dream/j.c.2 to start looking for a blueberry lemonade. I've got 5 little cindy's...come on male! I want to make extensive use of that! cindy is automatically drafted into stargate, and field promoted. I plan on taking the vortex/spacebomb/j.c.2 trio into the stratosphere(flowering times and yields be damned!); and cindy, malawi, and some thai/lao or cambodje are my tickets.

so ive done vortex and jtr and would say IMO that vortex is closer to cindy and apollo than jtr. the flavors are good on both but jtr seems smoother.
in terms of taste, high quality and pain relief without the tiredness of many indicas JTR is king, great all day smoke. very spacy type haze stone on the jtr.
vortex has a very interesting smell like limes without much skunk and gives an up high. JTR has a stonger smell like tropical, lemon skunk and still remains one of my all time favs.
