Want to grow a nice small plant

ok so i have this area thats 40inhes tall and im trying to figure out what kind of pot i should grow it in.

I dont really care if its small in fact i want it to be small, so i was thinking of useing somethign like a cup, a beer cup or something like that, and i was wondering if the plant is going to grow just fine like that?

i will probobly top it once or 3 times.. lol


and i will be growing with 6 42w cfl that i will be able to get real close to the plant.

and its only 1 plant for personal use of a small time smoker, like 1-2 gram a week lol so if i get like 20 gram out of it id be pretty stoaked.

you could grow a couple with that many lights. if you only want 1 do a scrog youll get tons of tops for 1 plants in a small area and use the biggest pot you can your only doin 1 plant dont hurt to have to much room for roots

kush plants are short and stalky, white ryno, short stalky, look at the seedbanks they usually have pretty good descriptions for their strains.

Beers cups work. Great for SOG style grows & 12/12 from seed to keep them small.

I like to use tupperware containers. The don't take up too much vertical room yet still have a large area for root growth.

thats actually a great idea im going to pick up some tupperware i think that was i can keep them super low to start off with ^_^

i am gettign aurora indica the site said they are small plants so i hope its true lol

how exactly does scrog work? ive looked it up and i know what it looks like but i dont realy understand what it does and how lol

with SCrog.. "SCREEN" of green.. you basically grow or veg your plant (more than 12 hours.. people usually do 18/6) until half your screen is full... you put a screen above you plants, some people put them 8-10inches or more above their plants.. up to you to decide what will be best for your application due to space... and what you do is you veg it and start growing it into the sceen and weaving you plant basically through the screen, and you keep doing it until its about half full.. then you switch to flowering.. or one thing about scrog is that it takes longer because of vegging... unless you have more plants. the whole idea of scrog is to have all the bud sites to receive the same amount of light. you get the idea of it any better? its pretty simple.. and some plants are better with scrog then others

what about some auto strains.. they usually stay under two feet.... and yield about an o a piece, and seem like a great way to get your feet wet... they are not dependent on light scheduling, and will flower at around three weeks from seed, and there is no need to change you light to 12/12 for it to bud.. some of these autos are sounding pretty killer like auto diesel amoung many others...
just a thought...

and how big do the holes of the screen need to be?

yeah WOW i just saw it and its great! i will definitely try out this SCROG on my baby.

BUT now here is my big problem, what if i put all this time and effort into this SCROG and it turns out male :cry: can i sex it and then go back to veg without it going crazy?

ya thats the predicament im in right now cause im using random bagseeds.sexing then reveg will work just take a copuple weeks to a month longer. im still not sure how im gonna do it but i think im just gonna flower till their done pick off tops then reveg and clone the one i like then scrog with them. unless i can setup this other small dresser as a clone box then ill take a clone from each plant before flower

i guess ill just have to try my luck and hope for the best, next time im getting FEM seeds lol.

with 6 42 watt'ers you can def pull off at least 1 more plant if your gonna keep em small and scrog...just a thought...goodluck bro :bigjoint:

Ok so finally got 2 seeds germinated (wet paper towel and 2 plates method) they showed root in 30hrs. But somehow miss calculated the dirt needed and only had enough for 1 and a half pots so one is planted and other will germinate for another day lol.. ill post a pic of the little set up in a bit. hope i get to see a sprout tomorrow.. lol :lol: but probobly in 2 days.

anyway ill update with a pic real soon
