Want to make sure everyone is good

I almost spent a bunch of money on nutrients for my first grow. Found some sta green, 3-1-2 for 7 bucks. Will make hundreds of gallons. It's working great.

I do want to try jacks next though.
I’m new to Jack’s 321, on my second flowering run with it. It works well in my hydro setup, a bit of a tip burner for me but I think it’s PH related. Super cheap to run and the plants like it.

Same. I've had some deficiency / burn issues, and running it with Blumats makes it even tougher to zero in. But I see other people's results on here and my buds have come out nice, so I'm going to continue on with it.

Except that there are no chemicals involved, unless you are talking about pesticides, or treatments of some sort
Chemical fertilizer?

The term “chemical fertilizer” refers to any number of synthetic compound substances created specifically to increase crop yield. ... Other fertilizers are potassium. Complex (or blended) chemical fertilizers often contain a mix of ammonium phosphate, nitrophosphate, potassium, and other nutrients.

So unless you growing organic in hydro then yes ur right now chemicals but it's rare that hydro growers use full organic fertilizer

All nutrients are chemicals so I guess I should of said "synthetic"

You and I were in another post and that came up I think. I’ve had some leaf drop week 5-6 of flower this run and I dropped my ph to 5.2 and that helped a lot. They really picked up the nutes at that ph and greened up a bit too. Not sure if it’s the best to stay there. Dangerous to get under 5 as iron and manganese get too available.

Was just pointing out that your "chem" comment was misleading. The plant doesnt know the difference between synthetic and organic nutes.
I like to think my organic pot is better, but my hydro bud was pretty good as well

@lusidghost hydro is extremely hard for me to grasp I'm a soil grower and probably will forever be so I tip my hat to you for mastering the art of growing in water but not for me
With Jack's you add three parts of powder, then PH it. I have had issues, but that's my own fault. At first I was underfeeding them, then I added an runoffless automated watering system that I'm in the process of properly work out.

I used to use 2 part Canna Coco. It was super easy to control, but way more expensive and annoying to work with. I also used to use a ton of additives and gradually stopped reordering them once I realized they were unnecessary.

If synthetic kills soil biology then I think it does something to the plant as the soil and plant are one....my opinion

You’re right, all nutrients are chemicals.
All things are made of chemicals. The air we breathe, the water we drink, everything is made of chemicals including every organic fertilizer. Everything is made of atoms from the periodic table, combined to make compounds or molecules, those are chemicals. Nothing is chemical free, at least according to Theodore Gray in his books.
